Joanna Wee is a musculoskeletal physiotherapist who specialises in women's health (including pregnancy and post-pregnancy rehabilitation) and pelvic health. She is also a Certified Mulligan Practitioner, and a Champions Performance Specialist.

Prior to co-founding Exodus Physiotherapy, Joanna worked at various hospitals under Singhealth, including Singapore General Hospital and Sengkang General Hospital at Alexandra Hospital campus for 5 years. She was awarded Singhealth Service Quality Silver Award in 2016. She was also the Team Physiotherapist for the Singapore Men's and Women's Badminton and Squash team at the 29th SEA Games in Kuala Lumpur 2017. In addition, Joanna was the Strength and Conditioning Coach for the Women's Badminton Team representing Singapore at the World University Games in Taipei 2017. In 2019 and 2020, she was traveling with the Singapore Badminton Team for their various international competitions (Badminton Asia Mixed Team Championships 2019, Australia Open 2019, 2019 BWF World Championships, Fuzhou China Open 2019). She was also treating the National athletes at the Singapore Sports Institute during this period.

As an avid badminton player, Joanna has personally experienced frustrations from frequent shoulder and knee pains during her trainings and tournaments. Appropriate sports rehabilitation has enabled her to continue to enjoy the game and stay competitive in the sport. These experiences have helped her develop empathy for her patients. She believes that individualised rehabilitation programmes with appropriate education are key factors in helping athletes recover and return to sports safely.
Danae graduated with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours) from the University of Queensland in Australia under the MOHH Health Science and Nursing Scholarship. She began her career in a public hospital in Singapore for 7 years, serving patients with diverse healthcare needs in both the inpatient and outpatient setting. Her clinical focus is in treating conservative upper and lower limb conditions, sports injuries as well as rehabilitation for post-operative orthopaedic surgeries. She has also given educational talks on physical activity for the pre-natal population and patients with oncological conditions.

With a diverse background in competitive sports including CrossFit, soccer, volleyball and netball, Danae understands the pain of injury and the demands of various sports. In 2024, she was awarded Silver in the Singapore Health Quality Service Awards, a testament of her compassionate and patient-centric approach towards her clients.

Beyond her professional endeavours, Danae finds joy in baking, cooking and making embroidery crafts. She finds inspiration in the beauty of the natural world and prioritizes regular exercise as an integral part of her lifestyle.

Claire is a dedicated and experienced physiotherapist with over a decade of experience since graduating in 2012. Her journey began with a brief period in private practice within a Physiotherapy & Pilates setting. After her undergraduate studies, she worked in Singapore General Hospital, where she honed her skills in both inpatient and outpatient settings. She then transitioned to Sengkang Health when it first opened its doors in Alexandra Hospital in 2015. This presented her with the opportunity to contribute to the growth and development of a new healthcare institution.

In 2018, Claire achieved a significant milestone by obtaining her clinical doctorate in physical therapy (DPT). This advanced degree has allowed her to broaden her horizons and become a first-contact practitioner, a role she could practice at Sengkang General Hospital (SKGH). During her time there, Claire was a key member of the STAR (Spine Triage) clinic, where patients had the opportunity to see a physiotherapist first to quickly manage their pain, thereby reducing the long waiting time to see a spine surgeon in the public hospital.

During her DPT studies, Claire also became lymphedema trained and certified. Upon her return, she initiated the lymphedema service at SKGH, where she has been running a multidisciplinary clinic in collaboration with the plastic surgery department.

In addition to her physiotherapy expertise, Claire is also Pilates-trained and certified. Her journey with Pilates began in 2005 as an adjunct to ballet, followed by formal Pilates training in 2009. In 2012, Claire attained her Polestar Pilates (Rehab) certification in London, UK.

Claire is a member of the Singapore Physiotherapy Association, International Association of Dance Science & Medicine (IADMS), Performing Arts Medicine (PAM) Special Interest Group in Singapore, and Lymphedema Society of Singapore.

Beyond her clinical expertise, Claire is passionate about working with performing artists to educate and empower them about injury prevention and supplemental training. She has given talks and workshops at NUS Dance, YST Conservatory of Music, and SAF Bands, to name a few.
Yap Jing Yi is a musculoskeletal physiotherapist with a special interest in spinal and lower limb conditions, women's health (including pregnancy and post-pregnancy rehabilitation) and pelvic health.

Prior to joining Exodus Physiotherapy, Jing Yi worked at Jurong Health for several years, before going into private practice. She was also part of the medical team providing physiotherapy services at the Games Medical Centre for the 28th SEA Games Singapore 2015 and 8th ASEAN Para Games Singapore 2015.

Jing Yi believes that prevention is always better than cure, and is a strong advocate for injury prevention through exercise and early intervention.
